San Juan del Sur Excursions

San Juan del Sur is a very small port with an interesting history. As you can take in most of what San Juan del Sur has to offer on your own in a few hours, Princess instead focuses its tours on the unique activities that can be found in southern Nicaragua--touring the colonial city of Granada, boating on Lake Nicaragua, visiting a volcano, shopping in the towns of Masaya and Rivas, and horseback riding, among others. Your ship will lay anchor in San Juan del Sur bay, and passengers are transported to shore via ship's tenders. You'll land on the dock at the south end of the bay. It's a 5 minute walk from the dock to the center of San Juan del Sur. If you're going on a shore excursion, you'll board your transportation at the dock.
